About Nibbo
Nibbo is a set of free online tools for video, audio, images and PDF. Drop a file in, choose what to do with it, and get the result back without installing anything or signing up.
What Nibbo does
Most online converters upload your file to a server, process it there and send it back. Nibbo does the work on your own computer or phone: the browser decodes, edits and encodes the file itself, using WebCodecs and WebAssembly. Big videos don’t crawl through an upload first, the tools keep working on a weak connection, and your files never leave your device. A single file can be up to 3 GB.
The name comes from our mascot, a hamster who nibbles megabytes off files that are too big for email or a messenger.
Who makes it
Nibbo is built by Vitalii Nagai and the small x3-team. We started it after too many evenings lost to upload limits and converter sites that wanted an account just to shrink one video. The site went live in October 2026 and now speaks 16 languages, each with its own page texts and guides rather than a machine-translated interface.
Our privacy principles
- Files are processed on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

How Nibbo stays free
The tools are paid for by advertising, shown only with your consent and never between your file and the Download button. A company can also sponsor Nibbo in one country; see the page for advertisers.
