PDF to Excel converter

Turn the tables in bank statements, invoices and reports into an Excel sheet you can sort and sum. Download XLSX or CSV; scanned pages are read with OCR. Your PDF never leaves your device.

How it works

  1. The text of every page is read with its exact position. Lines that sit at the same height become one row.
  2. Columns are found by clustering where the text starts and ends across all rows, so tables without ruled lines work too.
  3. Amounts such as 1,234.56 or 1.234,56 are stored as real numbers, so Excel can add them up. Dates, codes and IDs with leading zeros stay as text.
  4. Scanned pages have no text to read, so Nibbo offers OCR: the recognised words go through the same table detection.

Questions

Is it safe for bank statements?

Yes. The PDF is processed in this browser tab and never uploaded, so account numbers and transactions stay on your device.

Why are some columns merged or split?

Table detection is a heuristic. Wrapped cells and text that spans columns can confuse it; check the preview and use "Put each page on its own sheet" if the layout changes between pages.

Can I get a CSV instead?

Yes. The CSV is UTF-8 with a byte-order mark, so Excel opens accents and non-Latin text correctly.
