Sign a PDF
Add your handwritten signature, initials and the date to any page of a PDF. Draw it, type it or use a photo of your signature on paper. The document never leaves your device.
How it works
- Draw with a mouse, finger or stylus, type your name in a handwriting style, or drop a photo of your signature: the white paper is removed automatically.
- Place it on any page, drag it into position and pull the corner to resize. Add today's date the same way.
- The signature is added as an image on top of the page; the rest of the PDF is not changed.
Questions
Is this a legally valid signature?
It is a simple electronic signature, the same as signing a printout and scanning it, which many contracts and forms accept. Some processes require a qualified or certificate-based signature (QES); for those, use your bank or government signing app.
Is my signature stored anywhere?
No. It exists only in this browser tab and is gone when you close it.
