How it works
- Drop the song: MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC or a video file you have.
- Press “Separate vocals”. Demucs, an open AI model from Meta AI research, splits the song on your device.
- Download “Vocals (acapella)”: the voice on its own, without drums, bass or other instruments.
Questions
Can I use the acapella in a remix?
The tool and the model allow commercial use, but the song belongs to its rights holders. Use vocals of songs you own or have a licence for.
How long does it take?
It depends on your graphics card; a time estimate appears after the first seconds. Without WebGPU it runs on the processor and takes several times longer.
Is it free?
Yes, with no account and no daily limit. The song is processed on your device, not on a server.
