Make a karaoke version of a song: AI removes the vocals and leaves the instrumental as MP3. Demucs runs in your browser on your GPU. Free, nothing uploaded.
How it works
- Drop the song: MP3, M4A, WAV, FLAC or a video file you have.
- Press “Separate vocals”. The Demucs model downloads once (172 MB), stays in your browser and runs on your graphics card through WebGPU.
- Download “Instrumental (karaoke)”: the song with the voice taken out, ready to sing over.
Questions
Is the instrumental really without vocals?
The voice is removed by an AI model, not by phase tricks, so drums and bass stay intact. On songs with heavy reverb or backing vocals a faint trace of the voice can remain.
Is my song uploaded?
No. The model comes to your device and the song never leaves this tab.
Can I get the vocals too?
Yes. The same run also gives “Vocals (acapella)”, and “All 4 stems: vocals, drums, bass, other (ZIP)” downloads every part separately.
