Output

How it works

  1. The signature is cropped from the centre to the required shape (square, 350–1000 px). Use the photo maker to place the crop yourself.
  2. It is compressed to the highest quality that fits 20–300 KB. If the portal sets a minimum, a tiny file is padded with an invisible comment so it passes.
  3. EXIF data such as GPS location is removed by default.

Questions

Where do these numbers come from?

UPSC online application instructions as quoted by careers360 / ssbcrackexams. We could not confirm this on an official page, so check your notification before uploading.

What background is needed?

Three signatures one below the other, black ink, white paper. Nibbo does not change the background; take the signature against a plain wall or white paper.

Is my photo uploaded anywhere?

No. The image is decoded, resized and compressed by your browser on this device. The page has no server that could receive it.

Why is the result a little under the limit?

Portals disagree on whether 1 KB is 1000 or 1024 bytes. We count the upper limit as 1000 bytes per KB and the lower limit as 1024, so the file passes either way.
